That’s right! Electronic Arts and Maxis have finally announced a worldwide release date for the highly anticipated Spore game. The Spore release date has been set for September, 7 2008! We are finally getting closer to being able to play this awesome, creative, and unique game. you can expect to see it hit the following gaming platforms: PC, Macintosh, Nintendo DS, and mobile phones. Maxis’ Cheif Designer Will Wright announced “We’re in our final stages of testing and polish with Spore, and the team at Maxis can’t wait to see the cosmos of content created by the community later this year.” This game is truly going to be unique in the gaming industry with its God-like approach. You start out as a single cell on a newly born planet then you basically evolve in the game as realistically as possible. You are given the option to customize just about any aspect of your universe including the creatures, buildings, vehicles, and they have even talked about UFOs! Not only that though, you can share your creation with other gamers and explore other universes as well. This game is going to be a lot of fun, and will most likely sell out fairly quick.
